Ingredients:
3 lbs. stew beef ( 6 cups) – one inch cubed squares
1 lg. can mushroom soup
¾ cup burgundy
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 pkg. dried onion soup powder
1 tsp. salt
1 clove minced garlic
Choice of noodles or rice
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
½ cup brandy

Instructions:

Now this just sounds tasty! Preheat oven to 350 degrees (get things nice and hot) . Mix 3 lbs. stew beef ( 6 cups) – one inch cubed squares, 1 lg. can mushroom soup, ¾ cup burgundy, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 1 bay leaf, 1 pkg. dried onion soup powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1 clove minced garlic.
Bake covered with foil for 3 ½ hours.  Last half hour add 1 lb. fresh mushrooms and ½ cup brandy.  Serve over buttered noodles or rice. Serves 7.
